Plot: After seven years since her adventure to the spirit world, Chihiro convinces her school to start a environmental group and they released the kohaku river. Chihiro finally meets Haku. However Haku doesn't have enough power to remain his human form for a long time and Chihiro is only able to meet him once in a while. Chihiro had to wait for a few years before Haku marries her. Happily ever after.
Critique: The plot is interesting. the writer pictures chihiro meets haku through her own hard work. the idea of freeing the kohaku river confuses me though because there is already mansions built on top of the river, it doesnt seem very realistic for chihiro and her environment group to just get rid of the mansions and "free" the river. their first meeting of chihiro and haku after 7 years was very brief. I was hoping to see more description of their first encounter after seven years of separation.

Plot: After Chihiro's escape from the spirit world, Haku started to seek his way to the human world by working for Yubaba's sister Zeniba. After ten years of separation, Chihiro and Haku finally meets eachother in a shrine on the New Years Day.
Critique: The story is very touching. It describes Chihiro's growth in the past ten years as well as the hard work Haku needed to do inorder to gain his place in the human world. I think the ending of the story is also very beautiful, where the couple finally meet again and a new chapter of happiness is about to begin.

Plot: About Chihiro having a dream of river water she has and In her dream she greets Haku.
Critique: A very short story but is beautifully written. In Chihiro's dream she remembers Haku's name and in the water. Yet when she wakes up the name skips from her memory and Haku for her is only a dream. However it kind of disppoints me because as a fan of spirit away I would like to see the main characters can meet again as they promised eachother in the film that "we will meet again" and (hopefully) start a new relationship.

Plot: Chihiro doesn't meet Haku at all after her return to the human world. instead she just grew old and died, then became a spirit herself in the end.
Critique: It was very interesting because this fandom is written in second person narrative. not a lot of fandom use this kind of technique. the fandom itself is unique too because it's more of a coming of age story of Chihiro. She became a teacher and she grew old without meeting Haku again. Chihiro then return to the spirit world as a spirit...which was a strange ending for me because Chihiro basically had to wait for 7 to 8 decades before she get to see Haku...that is a very long time. If I was Chihiro I would have lost my faith in Haku.

Critique: I personally like this piece of fandom very much.It's very sweet and Fans usually expect this type of Spirit away fandom (haku and chihiro's love story) The author linked the past with the present, which is smart because it draws attention to the characters and makes it easy to understand for everyone who comes across with this piece of fandom. Readers see that Haku and Chihiro have met before hence take notice of the fact that they liked eachother. Then when Haku and Chihiro reunion readers will feel relieved and happy.
