Alex 88's Fanfiction (Final)

Uncharted: Nate and Sully's Vacation
By:
Alex88
Based On: Video Game, Uncharted Series

It was a fine sunny friday morning around 7 o clock just after the sun was done rising up to the sky to start the day for us, Nate woke up from his bed

"Sully! Sully!! Wake up! Our flight leaves in two hours!"

Sully woke up looking tired and aggrevated

"So whats the hurry then.. We still have two hours left! Let me get another half hour sleep Nate"

Nate looked confused

"How can you sleep??! Aren't you excited about the trip Sully?? I couldn't even sleep last night from the excitement!"

Sully ignored and continued sleeping.. and after a little while you could hear the sound of his easy snores.

Nate and Sully had stayed the night at a shabby motel near the airport so they could catch their flight to Spain the next morning leaving at 9 o clock on the dot. The reason for this is that they had been rewared a free vacation in Spain, a courtesy gift from the president of Spain himself for doing his country a huge favour. Having found the long lost treasure that once had belonged to Spain but got lost out in the great big ocean thanks to a infamous group of Samolian pirates who stole it and shipped it out a long time ago. That is until Nate and Sully went on their adventure for the search of the long lost Spanish treasure and succeeding their mission while running in to all sorts of trouble from evil treasure hunters to ruthless mob bosses, all who were after the same thing.

But because Nate and Sully are so good at what they do, thanks to them the bandits were stopped from retrieving the treasure and were once again able to come out on top. After they were done with their mission, they obviously did the right thing by returning the found treasure back to its rightful owner and because of that gesture they were rewared with a free vacation of a week stay at the country's best hotel in its largest villa. They also had free access to everything from the finest restaurants to the most expesive shows available in the country.

Nate was very much anticipating this trip not having had a proper holiday for a very long time, he was looking forward to having some time to himself to think and rest with a bit of peace and quite without men with AK 47s hunting him down every minute. Also on this vacation he would have time to think about his lover Elena who was at that moment in Africa doing charity work.

Nate had met Elena on another adventure back a few years ago while on a search for the lost El Dorado, Elena was a journalist sent by her employers alongside Nate on his mission to gather footage and information on the lost El Dorado but fell in love with the thrill seeking smooth talking charm of fortune hunter Nathan Drake. Since then Nate and Elena have been together happily going on extreme adaventures together and in no matter what situations always having each other's backs.

Nate decided to double check that he had packed everything for the trip before jumping in the shower, as he was going through his bags he realised he had almost forgotten to pack his lucky rings. The lucky rings Nate's father had given him when he was a child and ever since then he had never gone anywhere without them. He believed it to be his lucky charms and the source of success.

Exactly a half hour later Sully woke up yawning

"Damn that was a good sleep~ Now Im all charged up and ready for our grand vacation in Spain!"

Nate was getting out of the shower nice and clean, all ready to go to the airport

"Get your ass in the shower Sully we gotta be on the freeway atleast by seven forty-five! You better not make us late again!!"

Sully lit up a cigar looking half asleep, taking in his first puff of the day he felt satisfied

"Calm down Im not gonna make us late~ You know my showers only take five minutes~~"

Nate looked worried but feeling too happy to care walked in to the kitchen and made himself a nice cup of coffee. With his coffee in his hand he went outside to the the belcony of the motel and as he stood there staring out in to the open blue sky sipping on the freshly made coffe, he made a smile on his face instantly feeling good in his mind wondering what adventures were waiting for him in Spain.

Title: When a dream come true.

Chihiro's family had decided to move house and settle themselves in a little town far away from the current city. Chihiro hated the idea. She sulked, ate little and fought her parents' idea in silence. She was not supposed to be a little girl forever. I know that. So when she acted like she knew everything, I understood the reason and said little. As her angel it was my job to guide her, to follow her, not to judge her.

“I love Chihiro.” I thought to myself quietly.

However, she began to grow and change since last year. She somehow realized that she is different from the others: she could recall all the special dreams of hers where I existed. She never told anyone about me, but that little twinkle of thinking herself
more special than the others started to build up in her heart and has turned slowly into pride.

In her dream, I could greet her in different forms. Last night I questioned Chihiro: "Why don't you just agree with your parents? You are acting like a child." Chihiro compressed her lips in a thin line, said nothing, and I realized she was still that ten years old girl.

"So even if I moved house, can I still have dreams like this?" Chihiro asked softly. "I don't want things to change."

"Some changes can be good." my heart nearly sank as I avoided her first question. How much longer will I still be able to stay with Chihiro like this?

I knew I love Chihiro. I loved her since I first met her. This feeling swelled with time and eventually burst with despair. I had to leave her. It was said that angels were forbidden to have feelings toward humans.

Chihiro woke up and started packing, leaving me to stare at the blue sky alone. Outside her window, summer arose. Summer breeze tranquilly entered her room, I asked: "When an angel falls for a human, what would happen to that angel?"

Summer breeze didn't answer me; they went right through my body, skipped along the way. Summer breeze had only one destination: the spirit world. Ride on the summer breeze, disappear the world of wonder.

Ah. I've heard of it. Witch Yubaba's bathhouse, once you get in, you never get out unless you manage to keep your real name. If I leave Chihiro, she would also forget about me, right? She doesn't even know of my existence. I was but a dream.

With the last breeze of hope, I left without a trace.

(3 months later)

Someone once told me "There is always someone in your life who does things out of your expectations".

That is mostly true.

I haven’t seen Chihiro for three months yet there she was, standing on the red bridge, right in front of my eyes.

"You shouldn't be here! Get out of here! NOW!"

Humans who got spirited away only face death in the spirit world...if Yubaba caught her, Chihiro will never return to the world where we both came from. My mind went fuzzy as billions of thoughts rushed to my head all at once."GET OUT OF HERE!" I almost yelled.

Chihiro sprinted with panic and minutes later I found her shivering in the darkness, helplessly distraught and extremely anxious after seeing her parents' haunted form and her own partially transparent-looking skin. Pigs were one of the better forms for human to turn into because if they turned into fish they would have been killed right on the spot.
Could this be fate? Why did we meet again?

We ran hand in hand. Once, those hands were beyond my reach, I was only a dream to Chihiro. But as her angel I fell in love with her.

Angels were forbidden to fall in love with their masters. I did what I had to do when I accepted my emotions. It was certainly painful when I had to seal my power away in order to start my new job as an apprentice of Witch Yubaba in her bathhouse. No one knew who I was, but everyone called me Master Haku since Yubaba introduced me as so. She thought she took away my "real" name, which was only an illusion I made up in the first place. An Angel’s power was more than a match for a mere witch, hence deceiving her was one of the tricks I could easily perform.

However, there was one condition: I could not inform anyone of my real identity.

"Master Haku!"

"Do you smell that? There is a human here!"

Of course I smelled her; it was the smell I grew up with.  I was once hers, after all. I had been with Ogino Chihiro since her birth. If there is an Ogino Chihiro quiz, I will probably get full mark with my eyes closed. I was her guardian angel until the day I eliminated my presence from her life. But now she is in trouble, and I've got to help her.

"Don't forget, Chihiro. I am on your side. I've known you since you were very small..." I saw gleams of hope came into her eyes as they widened with curiosity.

You will be fine, Chihiro.

I gave Chihiro her real name back for her to return home with her true heart.  I still find myself fond of her, but what can happen between us? Chihiro grew stronger day by day, it won't be long until her return to the human world, and I could smell the sparkle of departure in the air.

But it seemed like it was I who had to fall into darkness first. Yubaba forced me to steal a seal from another witch and that seal nagged into my flesh, killing me from within. Paper dolls followed me constantly and jabbed me like a thousand burning needles all at the same time. Feeling detached from my own self, I could see my own dragon form body collapsing in the air, twisting and dropping itself in the sea water before the mind-boggling pain urged it to shoot up into the skies once more.

...yet here I rest, in the boiler's room and felt my heart in warmth and peace.

Kamaji snored tiredly, Chihiro was nowhere in sight. How long was I asleep?
"In the darkness, I heard Chihiro's voice calling out my name, I followed her voice, and the next thing I know, I was lying in your place, feeling better than ever." words flew from my mouth more fluent than ever. Chihiro saved me, I knew that for sure. "Pure love. It broke the witch's spell" Kamaji concluded. Love?
If for any chances she could love me back, will my fate change a little? Angels had to leave the human they love, but what if the human could love them back? I arrived in my dragon form. I could smell her courage and power from miles away, Chihiro's eyes shined with delight as soon as she saw me. She was no longer that wilful little girl I knew. We flew, and I knew her days in the spirit world would end very soon.

If I told you who I really am, what will become of me?
"Listen, Haku." Chihiro's voice ran across my heart
"I've always had weird dreams since I was little. Where I met and talked to a certain creature...like a cat or dog, a boy my age, and there was a dragon. I rode on him and we flew all the way to somewhere far away, just like now. But that dream stopped three months ago" night wind drove down my scales, sharp pangs of iciness getting to me, but I could manage.
"And then I realized...all those creatures, they were all connected. They could just be one thing...you know what I mean? Like, all of them were actually just one person." She buried her face in my green mane. "It was you, wasn’t it? We met a long time ago and you always appear in my dreams, right?"
Chihiro knew me. She knew I was there! My heart pounded nervously with guilt. I tried so hard trying to hide myself away from her, away from the spirits, away from everyone and everything. Together with my flesh there was my heart. Why did I run away? All I thought about was myself; I was scared if there would be any punishment for me to love Chihiro so I ran away from her. But, what if she could accept me and love me back?

No more hiding.
"I was there." I said. "I was your angel, Chihiro."
"Was?" Chihiro queried with a small hint of disappointment.
"I am still your angel." I smiled. "I will not leave you, I will not let you go. This time for sure".

"Mona." Chihiro giggled "That was your real name, right? You told me in my dream."
In distance, sun rose with delight. The pale yellow light gradually grew into blinding white and my whole body felt numbing with happiness. No more scales, no more mane. As soon as my name was called out by my loved one, the real me appeared. Wind carefully brushed my long dark hair and my pale skin almost glowed in the sunshine. My wings reached in the blue sky with joy and we flew hand in hand, knowing we belonged together from the very beginning. This is a dazzling dream coming true for both of us.

I am forever and always your angel, Chihiro.

Ford's Final Fan Fiction

#Authors notes; The original edit of this story was about 1300 words long, having to cut it down for the word limit meant I lost of lot of description in the action sequences and a bit of passage of time.

Agents Kay and Jay were on a mission to find a missing colleague, Agent Eff, last heard from in a small town, in the middle of a desert.

They had driven into town, seeing no one, and parked the car in the town’s square before deciding to proceed on foot.

“It’s a ghost town, there’s no one here,” Jay said puzzled.

Kay retrieved a small scope from his jacket pocket and looked up and down the main street. He saw a small gathering of people exiting what looked to be the only dinner in town.
“Oh thank god! Hello!” Jay greeted as the people headed over, their eyes glowing brightly.

Kay’s scope drew his attention. Patches of the approaching group shone red, alerting him to their condition. He pulled out his gun and opened fire on the first of the crowd.

“Woah!” Jay yelled in surprise. “You can’t just start blasting people for being all glowy eyed.”

“Velusian nerve mites. They’re not ‘
people’ anymore Slick,’ Kay said as he fired upon another aggressor. “We have to get back to the LTD and call in air support.”

“We’re going to bomb the entire town?!” Jay asked.

“Orbital strike. Mite’s burrow. First a host, then the planet. They’ll have tunnels beneath town,” Jay told him in a matter of fact tone.

“So apart from the glowy eyes, what do these mites have in store for us?” Jay asked.

“They’re strong, but slow, and expel super heated plasma from their mouths.”

“Sounds like a cake walk, just stay out of arm’s reach!” Jay exclaimed.

“Remember Slick, there were five hundred people living in this town.”

The two agents made their way through town, avoiding patrols where possible.

Kay’s communicator beeped in his pocket, and he pulled it out, flicking it open. Zed was staring at Kay from the communicator’s small screen.

“Kay, give me a report. Where’s Eff?” Zed barked.

“Still missing, probably dead. There’s an outbreak of Velusian nerve mites. They seem to have a pretty extensive network of caverns under the town. We’re going to have to level it.” Jay’s voice lacked any tone that would have been appropriate given what he had just said.

“I’ll have the twins move the satellite into position. Call back when you’re at a safe distance.”

“In an hour, toast the town whether we’ve made it out or not Zed,” Kay said, closing the communicator without a farewell.

“You just love putting our lives in danger don’t you?” Jay asked as they weaved through back streets.

The two agents were stopped in their tracks when they came across Agent Eff, tied and seated on a chair, in the middle of the road. They moved forward cautiously. Eff looked up to see them approaching and swung his head from side to side, urging them to stop.

“Leave me behind,” he hissed. “It’s a trap, they’re waiting for you.”

“We can’t just leave him, he’s not even infected!” Jay pleaded.

“I couldn’t agree more, but we have to be careful,” Kay replied as he looked through his scope at the ground around Eff. Frowning, he pulled out his ice gun and started to fire. Shot after shot covered the ground around Eff, leaving an icy path.

“It’ll buy you some time, but not long. You better hurry Slick,” Kay instructed.

Jay took a few quick breaths and ran forwards. He tackled Eff onto the ice and they slid away from danger to the opposing sidewalk.

Behind them, the street erupted and fell away as a dozen infected townspeople crawled to the surface. Eff lay a safe distance away, but Jay started slipping into the crater of rubble, toward the infected. One reached to grab his ankle as he was making his way back out.

“Oh no you don’t!” Jay yelled as he kicked his attacker, mouth widening with a ever brightening glow, in the cheek knocking him back. Kay fired his ice gun and Jay’s attacker was encased in ice.

Jay climbed quickly from the pit and untied Eff. They worked around the hole meeting Kay, firing upon the townspeople as they ran.

Reaching Kay, the three stumbled down several alleyways, keeping out of sight as they escaped.

There was only ten minutes left as they almost reached the car. They peeked around the corner to see the LTD surrounded.

“Once around the block?” Jay asked, to which Kay nodded. Jay sat Eff down on a stair and handed Kay his gun and stepped out from behind the corner.

“Hey, over here roaches!” Jay yelled, turning to run.

A flock of host bodies took off in pursuit, leaving a handful behind.

Kay waited till Jay was out of sight and started towards the car, lofting both guns at the small gathering. He pulled both triggers rapidly and, as the two forces met, only Kay was left standing.

Eff ambled behind Kay, firing upon any patrols that approached the ruckus.

Kay pressed the button on his keys and the doors unlocked. Eff climbed into the back of the car as Kay stood by the open driver’s door and held both guns prone.

Jay rounded the corner with the horde shortly behind him, and Kay opened fire once more.

“Hey! Watch it!” Jay yelled as he covered his head and ran for the car.

They jumped in and Kay reversed away from their attackers before spinning the car around and down the main street, weaving left and right as patches of roading crumbled.

Jay checked his watch, they had made it out just in time, one minute to spare.

There was a point of light in the sky and a thunderous crash as a beam of light struck the town.

Both agents put on their sunglasses as the LTD sped along the desert road, escaping the blast radius behind them. Kay pressed a button on the console of the car and it transformed into something barely resembling the LTD it had been and sped away even faster.

Memories of the Past rewrite
Written By: Crystal2112

This particular fanfiction was very interesting to read as it is a new form of writing fanfiction which I hadn't known about. What the writer has done is written a story set back in the past from the movie, where Seth and Evan ( the two main characters from the movie ) meets for the first time before they become best friends. What was really enjoyable for me was that even though this story is portraying a much younger version of Seth and Evan, their characteristics from the movie are still noticeable but just in a underdeveloped way. The part where Seth is showing Evan his video games was most pleasant to read.

Stale Cereal
Written by: SydniBoBydni

This is a fanfiction based on the movie 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall', overall I enjoyed reading it very much and thought that it was written out very well. The main reason I loved it so much is that the writer has written a part of the movie that was mentioned in the film but wasn't actually shown, so when I read this fanfiction it gives me an idea of how that scene would've played out if it was included in the film. Because in the film Peter mentions about the cereal container that his girlfriend Sarah buys him and this story is based on the whole cereal container buying incident. Also the writer makes sure to put the descriptions of the characters in the story for the fans to feel that familiarity, like for example in the movie Peter only eats Fruit Loops for cereal same as this fan fiction. John's Fan Fiction Final

A Long Night

It had been the longest night of my life. A one man crusade against the worst New York had to offer, and it was all going to end soon, the man responsible for everything was about to pay. As if it understood what was happening the blizzard that had been raging for several days now seemed be throwing up one final blast of ice and snow, showing no signs of letting up. It felt as if hell itself was about to freeze over.

The headlights of my car served only to illuminate the impenetrable white wall of ice. I was blind. But nothing was going to stop me now, not even this. When was the last time I had stopped for a rest? I could no longer remember. But when I did it would be for the last time. It felt like I had lived an entire lifetime in this one night, I could barely remember anything from before. Like a nightmare that I could not wake myself on. I pressed on. Adrenaline was all I was running on. Following nothing but my instincts, I drove through the deserted suburbs.

I knew the place I had to find, I had been there once before in another life. That flashy mansion stands out so much that it should be impossible to miss. However it was going to be hard to find anything at all during this wild storm.

After driving around the deserted suburbs for what seemed to me like an eternity. I managed to spot the large iron gates. Oddly enough they were wide open.

Strange.

I cautiously drove through to the entrance to the mansion. Every light was off except one on the second floor. This did not look good.

The large front doors offered no further resistance and I entered into a dark entrance hall followed by a chilling gust of wind. A single fork of lightning in the distance illuminated the room for a split second and it seemed to be completely deserted. The only thing I could do for now was find that one room on the second floor.

Groping my way through the dark I managed to find a door that was leaking a subtle light.

It turned out to be someone’s study or perhaps an office.

A man lay slumped over the desk. On closer inspection I found out he was dead, the man responsible for all this and the man I had come all this way for, someone had gotten to him first.

Should I have felt relieved right now? Because I sure as hell did not.

“That’s far enough Mr Payne.” An unfamiliar voice rang out from behind me, before I had time to find out who it belonged to, someone grabbed me and stabbed a syringe into my neck. Whatever it was, it took effect immediately. A green flash of light struck across my head blinding me with a bright pain, all my senses became obscured. It was unbearable.

“Heh.”

“Looks like you won’t be bothering us again.” The mystery voice rang out and I could see a figure exit the room followed by several shadows of men.

The room had become a blurry haze. Objects shifting in and out of focus, spiralling around me in a sickening circle. I had to get out. Seeing what appeared to be the door I ran for it. It felt like the weight had drained out of my body. With every step I took I seemed to float through the air unable go where I wanted to go.

The room seemed to stretch on and on as if space and time itself were being warped.

“Who’s there?!” I could hear a panicked sounding woman asking, but I soon found that I could not reply.

“Max? Is that you?” she asked.

The voice spiraled around and around my head.

I found myself in an endless maze of hallways, rows of identical doors to my right and left.

Where was I going?

Everything felt strangely familiar. The wooden walls, the furniture, the open fire place crackled with a welcoming fire.

I realized that I was now in some sort of living room. The floor was littered with discarded papers. Gibberish scribbled across them. Lit candles gave off an eerie light and shadows danced across the floor and walls. Portraits and photos hung on the walls and stood on the tables but I could not make out the faces of the people in them.

The only way out seemed to be a long staircase on the other end. I began my ascent.

It gave way to a study or an office that I did not recognize at first. Things were still here. Finally, peace and quiet.

An expensive wooden desk stood in the middle of the room.

A single letter lay neatly folded on top of the desk; it was calling out to me.

I picked it up and unfolded it.

There was something disturbingly familiar about the letter before me, the handwriting all pretty curves.

“Max.”

“You’re in a fan-fiction”

The truth split my skill open. A glaring light washed the lies away.

My entire life was nothing but a fake, a forgery.

I was in a fan-fiction, funny as hell; it was the most horrible thing I could think off.

Based on the 2001 computer game "Max Payne"
